Purple Haze
This year Miles planted a variety of carrots called Purple Haze. True to their name, these psychedelic vegetables would make Jimi Hendrix proud. They weren't as sweet as some other varities, but they tasted like any other regular carrot. Check out those funky shapes!

If only Miles could plant them in time for Halloween! I might need to drop by on Saturday (in the hopes that there is a specimen to examine).
Sorry, we ate them all. They were very tasty! Actually, they were ready in October, but we only pulled them out of the ground when we cleared the garden boxes.
We'll save you some next year!
